Join us for an exciting and memorable hike on Mt. Kurofu, 2250m (next to Mt. Asama). Experience the breathtaking view of Mt. Asama, Gunma and Komoro! The hike is about 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours, and a regular climb. Pack your lunch and bring your own drink. Hat, sunscreen, T-shirt, wet tissues, and toilet paper recommended. Regular sports shoes will do just fine. Avoid perfumes, scented deodorants and dark colored clothing to keep bees, insects, and bear away from you!

Registration : Please register your name, email address or phone number at cab@npo-jp.net. In case of bad weather we will use that information to notify you of the cancellation by 9pm the night before.

Participation fee: 500 yen (for insurance and first aid kit), FREE for CAB members.

Meeting location: Saku Goudou Chosha (Prefectural Office off Route 141 to the left, past Chikuma river, across from Saku City Water Department). We will car pool from this place to Takamine Kougen. People willing to drive can inform the staff on the day. Please check the Map.

Or you can meet us in front of Sakudaira Station at 8:45am. At the steps of Tateshina Exit. In that case, please let us know in advance.

Disability: If you have physical concerns or disability please contact us at least a week in advance. We will try to accommodate your needs as much as possible.

We will start climbing at 10a.m. from Takamine Kougen hotel and will reach the summit around noon.
The course is not difficult and even school children can participate.
