Mr. Harold Creger

CAB is proud to announce that Mr. Harold Creger has been volunteering at UCEP (Underprivileged Children's Education Program) facility in Nepal since October 8, 2004. He started working as an English language instructor and coordinated extra-curricular activities. In addition to that, he is now a project coordinator which involves setting up a weekly health check-up program. This program was initiated by Mr. Creger himself after consulting with the director of the facility. The program allows children to receive weekly medical check-up at the facility from a visiting physician which includes treatment and follow-up procedures. This program will greatly benefit the children to maintain good health and to cure illnesses.

Mr. Creger lives at the facility and has been experiencing life in Nepal first-hand. His day starts at 6am and ends around 9pm. He says that at first it was strange because there was no hot water and other basic necessities. But now he is well adapted to the new environment and enjoys each day. He feels that when we live in a developed country, we simply cannot understand what its like to be a citizen of a developing country. He has been sending his comments and pictures from Nepal regularly.

CAB would like to gradually expand overseas cooperation and welcome all those who wish to volunteer or contribute in some way. For details, please contact us.
