CAB hosts numerous social events to promote
diversity in the community. We encourage both Japanese and foreign
residents to come and enjoy meeting people, make new friends, learn
about new cultures and have fun! The events are open to anyone.
Below are some pictures of our events: (It will be put on soon.)
BBQ - An annual event held
in fall in Sakuho town on a beautiful, secluded, hilltop park. People
can enjoy original delicious BBQ from different countries and play
sports on the grassy park. Or you can just eat, drink and relax
              on the lawn!

            Tea Reception - A quarterly
event held at Curtis Creek a nice, trendy and cozy cafe in Saku.
You can enjoy a wide variety of soft drinks and alcohol (both domestic
and imported), food, music and the view. There are table seats,
counter seats, couches and even a small balcony, which can be used
if the weather is good. The owner is an enthusiastic supporter of
CAB. Its relaxing whether you are by yourself or in a group.
            Dinner - Once a month, on a
weekend, CAB organizes a sports day and after the event, participants
are free to join the staff for dinner at a family restaurant (usually
Gusto near Sakudaira station). People who can't go to sports are
also welcome to join. A good occasion to get to know each other!

            Hiking
              - Every spring we organize a hike to nearby mountains. With
many wonderful mountains around us, this is an experience you should
not miss! We've climbed Mt. Kurofu (next to Mt. Asama) and a mountain
in Hakuba among the Japan Alps. The views are spectacular and the
routes are very popular among people of all ages. Next could be
              Mt. Fuji!
            NOTE:
Please check our website for specific dates. They will be announced
two months in advance. Also, you are more than welcome to suggest
              or coordinate events with us.
