Dear colleagues and friends of CAB,
I am honored once again to be writing this message to all those
who made it possible for Community Aid Bridge to successfully accomplish
its tasks last year. I would like to express my gratitude to each
one of you for keeping the momentum going in order to make CAB a
model organization.
We have come through a number of things this past year. With a
fresh start and carefully assigned posts, staff members diligently
and professionally worked their way throughout the year, overcoming
barriers and challenging new objectives. We have reached a new height
after a year and shall proceed on with greater agility and confidence.
Beginning with setting up a homepage, to writing monthly newsletters,
and having organized monthly meetings, the staff of CAB, have acquired
new skills required to lead this society into a global future. Developments
in leadership skills, problem solving, and integrity have been an
integral part of each staff. This continuous learning process is
vital for our growth. The volunteer staff members are constantly
seeking to learn new skills to enhance the quality of services that
we provide to foreign residents in Japan. Supporting CAB, are a
large number of volunteers from the community who sacrifice their
time, energy, and resources to make the organization better. Without
their unconditional support, we would not be where we are today.
Volunteering is not easy. It takes a tremendous courage and will
to be a part of the group to provide effective services. The rewards
are priceless.
The coming year shall see fine-tuning in many areas of CAB programs.
We will dedicate ourselves to a better global integration of humankind.
Promoting diversity, multi-cultural understanding, human values,
and intellectual advancement will be our priority, in addition to
taking a professional approach to matters.
I would like to take this opportunity again to invite anyone who
is interested in becoming a staff member of CAB. Together we can
build a better future. Thank you always for supporting our causes.
Best regards,
Kendra Hirata
President
